Presidential and State Primaries Scheduling​

Guam has merged their presidential and state primaries. On a Presidential Election year, presidential primaries and State primaries are scheduled to run on the same date.

In order to vote in Guam, you must be registered. But you do not have to indicate your party affiliation when you register. The Republican Party of Guam Chairman holds “an open primary”, which means any registered Guam voter can take part in the process. The Democratic party is debating for "a closed primary", which means only registered democrats can take part in the process.

The caucus meets to choose 6 of Guam's 12 delegates to the Democratic National Convention (representing 6 of Guam's 12 delegate votes at the National Convention).
