July 6, 2026 Voter Registration Deadline In Person: Voter Registration Applications must be completed and returned in person 29 days prior to an election in order to be "registered to vote in that election.". You may visit your County Recorder's office and fill out a registration form in person. The County Recorder will send you a confirmation of registration within 4-6 weeks. You must register at least 29 days before the election (or the next business day if that deadline falls on a holiday) to vote in that election..
