November,8,2016 - General Election Day


Absentee Ballot Begins - First day to accept Early Voting ballot request for the general election


Constitutional & Initiative Petitions - Last day to file petitions - Last day for new political party to submit petitions with the Secretary of State to qualify for the General Election.


Absentee Ballot Begins - Deadline to have Early Voting ballots ready and sent to UOCAVA voters with requests on file.


Early Voting/In Person Absentee voting starts - Early voting starts


Voter Registration deadline - Electronic (online) - Last day to mail an early voting ballot with a mail-in registration application form to a person not registered to vote.


Voter Registration deadline - By Mail - Last day to register by mail by 6pm


Voter Registration deadline - By Mail - Last day to accept a mail-in registration with an illegible postmark.


Voter Registration deadline - In Person - At 6 p.m. last day for in person voter registration


Candidate Ballot Access - Write-In candidates ballot access deadline - Last day for write-in candidate to file notarized affidavit and filing fee with the filing officer.


Absentee Ballot Request deadline - Last day to request absentee ballot by 4pm


Early Voting/In Person Absentee voting ends - Last day for Early Voting- in person - at the County Clerk or Election Commissioner office
