2017 March 14 Special election -- Date: March 14,2017

Deadlines
February 10, 2017 Absentee Ballot Request deadline - By Mail:County Clerk to mail absentee ballots for the March 14 election to voters who requested absentee ballots.
February 17, 2017 Voter Pre-Registration Deadline:Last day to pre-register to vote with the County Clerk until 5:00 p.m. for the March 14 election. Registration closes in those districts holding a March 14 election. Election Day Registration is available.
February 17, 2017 Voter Registration Ends:Last day to pre-register to vote with the County Clerk until 5:00 p.m. for the March 14 election. Registration closes in those districts holding a March 14 election. Election Day Registration is available.
February 18, 2017 :County Clerk to mail ballots for the March 14 election to voters in designated Mail Ballot Precincts.
February 27, 2017 Early Voting/In Person Absentee voting starts:Last day to begin Early Voting at the Early Voting Polling Place for the March 14 election for those counties who elect to conduct Early Voting.
March 3, 2017 Absentee Ballot Request deadline - By Mail:Last day for an application for a mail-in absentee ballot to be received by the County Clerk not later than 5:00 p.m. for the March 14 election.
March 10, 2017 Early Voting/In Person Absentee voting ends:Last day for Early Voting until 5:00 p.m. for the March 14 election at the Early Voting polling place.
March 10, 2017 Absentee Ballot return deadline :Last day for in-person absentee voting until 5:00 p.m. for the March 14 election at the absent elector's polling place.
March 14, 2017 Absentee Ballot return deadline :Last day to return absentee ballots to the County Clerk's Elections Office by 8:00 p.m. for the March 14 election.

April 1, 2017 Candidates: Last day to withdraw before the Election:Last day a candidate for the May 16 election to withdraw before the May 16 election.
April 14, 2017 Absentee Ballot Request deadline - By Mail:County Clerk to mail absentee ballots for the May 16 election to voters who requested absentee ballots.
April 21, 2017 Voter Registration Ends:Last day to pre-register to vote with the County Clerk until 5:00 p.m. for the May 16 election. Registration closes in those districts holding a May 16 election. Election Day Registration is available.
April 22, 2017 First day for county clerks to mail ballots to voters:County Clerk to mail ballots for the May 16 election to voters in designated Mail Ballot Precincts.
